Workflow
Pólstjarna Peysa is worked in a multicoloured pattern following the charts.
The sweater is worked top down with a European shoulder construction. First, the top back yoke is worked flat. Then, you pick up stitches for the front pieces along the shoulder lines. Once the top part of both front pieces is finished and the neckline is shaped, you add steeking stitches on both sides between front and back piece (armholes). From there on, you continue working rounds, until the length of the armholes is reaching. You then bind off the steeking stitches and work the body to your preferred length, before it is bound off with the tubular bind-off.
The steeking stitches at the armholes are secured by sewing and are cut open. Thereafter, pick up stitches around the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked top down in rounds. Finally, pick up stitches for a ribbing at the neckline and knit them.
This design uses the dominance technique to combine two colours, creating a beautiful and even finish.

Fit and size guide
Pólstjarna Peysa has a boxy fit and is designed with the focus on comfort and extra width at the body. When choosing your size, you should therefore ensure that the sweater has a minimum of 20 cm positive ease. Measure your bust or the widest part of your upper body and add at least 20 cm – choose the size where the bust measurement is closest to your own measurements. Pólstjarna Peysa is designed with “dropped shoulders”, which means that the shoulder seam sits on the upper arm.
